Roadmap¶
Roadmap is a workbench for context engineering: collecting what an AI (or a person) needs to know to do a piece of work, from the systems a team already uses (Jira, Confluence, git, Trello, ...), and handing it over in one place.
Everything in Roadmap is a plugin on a shared framework. The part this site documents most is the Knowledge Base: the organisation-wide half of context engineering. A context is put together by hand for one task. The Knowledge Base is built once for the whole organisation, written by AI agents, and kept up to date.
-
What it is, the two layers, and the ideas everything else builds on.
-
Flows and Orchestration
Configured paths into the knowledge base, and the state machines that run them.
-
Knowledge about a feature that isn't built yet, kept apart until it's merged.
-
One feature from analysis to merge, the way an AI team works through it.
-
Seven tools, one per role, for any AI client connected to Roadmap.
-
Everything an agent can do over MCP, a person can do with curl.
Who this is for¶
- People using the Knowledge Base: read Concepts and The explorer.
- People setting it up for a team: Configuration, Flows, Orchestration.
- People connecting an AI to it: the MCP tools and the walkthrough.
